THALIS-ES presented its views on accelerating the transition to the circular economy at the E.E.D.S.A. Conference. on 28/09/2022-29/09/2022.

In our intervention at the Conference, it was emphasized that the acceleration of the transition to the circular economy requires the development of sustainable activities in all the links of the waste management chain from the production of the products, prevention, collection, recycling and final disposal of the residue. In order to achieve the ambitious goals that have been set, it is necessary to utilize a combination of policy tools (spatial, environmental, financial), the development of technological and process innovations, as well as access to flexible financing products.

THALIS-ES, during this period, has completed the Archanes Biowaste Treatment Plant and is completing the construction of the Rethymnon Waste Treatment Plant, while at the same time implementing the Sitia and Heraklion Plants contracts
