Vassilis Papazisis, President and CEO of THALIS-ES, passed away on Sunday, August 28, an inspiring and pioneering businessman who contributed decisively for thirty years to the development of the Environment sector in Greece. He was born on February 10, 1965 in Grevena. He studied at the Department of Natural Environment of AUTH.

Armed with his studies, his determination and his intuition, he has built healthy business activities in the field of the environment over the past thirty years. He inspired and mobilized a numerous and quality human resource. He leaves behind a unique legacy of business strategies with a strong environmental and social footprint. Of all the business initiatives he undertook over time, THALIS-ES was his favorite creation. The company's clear focus on promoting the circular economy and addressing the challenges of climate change bears its own stamp. His effort will continue because it is based on an ambitious vision that we saw become reality, in a short period of time, with his own inspirational leadership.
