Thalis' dynamic participation in the 3rd International Retaste Conference, jointly organized by Harokopio University and the Hellenic Mediterranean University, with the aim of preventing and utilizing food waste and, more broadly, organic residues and waste.

In an exceptionally interesting discussion at the beginning of the conference, our holistic approach to the management of bio-waste was presented, highlighting key points that can lead to sustainable solutions and substantially contribute to the transition to an efficient and fair circular economy in the country.

Furthermore, within the conference's proceedings, Thalis' activities in the field of tertiary wastewater treatment were presented, focusing on areas in Crete with significant tourist interest, emphasizing the critical importance of reusing water for agricultural purposes as a feasible and environmentally sustainable solution within the context of circularity.
