The project involves the upgrade of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, in accordance with the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the incoming liquid waste and the quality standards of the treated effluent.

The upgrade of the Heraklion Business Park Wastewater Treatment Plant will be carried out using the submerged bio-membrane method (MBR technology).

The project is implemented under the Approved Action "New Industrial Parks" (Code 16634) of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), which falls under Pillar 4: Private Investments and Economic Transformation, specifically within Axis 4.6: Modernization and Improvement of the Resilience of Key Economic Sectors.
