THALIS Signs New Contract with the Unified Waste Management Association of Crete for the "Operation of the Pera Galinon Landfill".

THALIS has signed a new agreement with the Unified Waste Management Association of Crete (E.S.D.A.K.) for the continued provision of services related to the operation and maintenance of the Pera Galinon Landfill (SLF) and its existing infrastructure.

Specifically, the scope of the contract includes, among others, the operation and maintenance of:

  • The upgraded leachate treatment facility.
  • The biogas collection, transfer, and combustion network.
  • The leachate collection and transfer network.
  • The leachate recirculation network.
  • The building structures and infrastructure works.
  • The bulky waste shredder.

The contract will be implemented over the period 2025–2027, with the possibility of a two-year extension (option right).
