For the third consecutive year, THALIS proudly stands alongside the young "Marathon Runners" of Recycling in the Municipality of Heraklion, Crete. At the same time, we continue to actively support the School Recycling Marathon of the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos, with the same dedication and enthusiasm.

When students take the initiative to protect the environment and participate in a four-stream recycling marathon, we’re right there with them — as supporters, partners, and fellow travelers on the path to a greener future.

This year’s top-performing schools in Heraklion’s School Recycling Marathon were honored at a vibrant event celebrating World Environment Day.

As the main supporter of the celebration, THALIS proudly provided the awards and gifts presented to these young environmental champions — recognizing their commitment and their inspiring contribution to sustainability.

The very next day, the celebration continued in the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos. Once again, THALIS had the honor of attending and presenting the victory award to the school that led the way in recycling efforts.

We extend our warmest congratulations to the organizers in both municipalities, to the teachers and parents, and — above all — to the young Marathon Runners. With passion, energy, and a deep sense of environmental responsibility, they achieved a new recycling record across four material streams!
