THALIS has signed a contract with the Unified Waste Management Association of Crete (E.S.D.A.K.) for the provision of the service “Operation of the Sitia Landfill.”

The contract covers the operation and maintenance of the Sitia Sanitary Landfill and its existing infrastructure.

In addition, the scope of the contract includes, among other things, the operation and maintenance of the leachate treatment unit, the leachate collection, transfer, and recirculation networks, as well as the associated building and technical infrastructure. The operation and maintenance of the bulky waste shredder are also included within the framework of the contract.
