THALIS Participation in the Institutional Dialogue on Sustainable Water Management at the “KLEISTHENIS” Conference.

Mr. Vasileios Vyzirgiannakis, Development Director of THALIS, participated in the panel "Resilience, Protection, Sustainable Development and Water Resources Management", in the framework of the Conference of the Panhellenic Association of General Secretaries of Local Government "KLEISTHENIS", which took place during the Circular Economy exhibition "Forward Green".

During his presentation, he highlighted the need to modernize water infrastructure through the construction of new and the upgrading of existing facilities, in the light of modern technologies and EU directions, with the aim of transitioning to a sustainable and circular water management model.


He placed particular emphasis on the value of the integrated and efficient operation of infrastructure, highlighting the essential role that the private sector can play in their management.


Finally, he referred to the strategic importance of digitalization, with an emphasis on leak control, the reduction of energy consumption and the early diagnosis of critical situations and failures, as key pillars for enhancing the resilience and sustainability of networks.
