The contract includes:

• The collection and transport of mixed, recyclable and biodegradable municipal solid waste (MSW) (organic kitchen waste) from local areas of the Region of Western Macedonia.
• The transhipment, storage and transport of recyclable, and other categories of municipal solid waste (MSW) (excluding mixed), through the existing network of 10 Local Waste Management Units (LWMUs) to CFIMs. The LWMUs are in Kozani, Eordea, Kastoria, Florina, Grevena, Siatista, Voio, Deskati, Servia and Amidaio.
• The operation of the Central Facilities of Integrated Management (CFIMs) including the C Cell of the Landfill,  the central service for regular and emergency maintenance of mobile and mechanical equipment, the administration building, the car wash, the lubrication building, the gas station, the fire extiguishing tank, the Recyclable Materials Sorting Center (K.D. A.Y.), the temporary storage area for recyclable materials, the bulky waste treatment plant, as well as the Water Waste Treatment Plant (WWTP) including the reverse osmosis plant and the underground drainage and recirculation disposal field and recirculation of concentrate in the active cell.
• The maintenance (regular and emergency) of the fixed and mobile mechanical equipment used for the collection of MSW, transhipment and transport, landfilling, shredding, sorting of various MSW, as well as the maintenance of the existing installations of LWMUs and CFIMs.
• The environmental monitoring of CFIMs, the collection and statistical analysis of data from LWMUs and CFIMs, as well as the system of supervision and organization of operation and maintenance of the system for which the services are provided.
• In the treatment of landfill leachate through three (3) stages reverse osmosis with capacity 115 m3 / day.
