The scope of the project is the construction of a compact industrial wastewater treatment plant at the PAPASTRATOS Tobacco Factory in Aspropyrgos, Attica.
The unit has a capacity of 600 m3 / day with the possibility of expansion to 900m3 / day. After the treatment, the effluent quality is suitable for irrigation uses.
The works consists of:
- Project implementation study
- Construction of civil engineering works
- Supply and installation of all equipment
- Configuration of the surrounding area
- Six months trial operation and staff training
The compact WTP includes:
- Mechanical primary treatment
- Physico-chemical primary treatment
- 1st stage of biological treatment (MBBR technology)
- Sludge separation with DAF
- 2nd stage of biological treatment (membrane bioreactor technology MBR)
