The contract concerns the upgrade and expansion project of EEL Livadia.

The WWTP will be upgraded and expanded by adopting the system of prolonged ventilation In combination with ultrafiltration membranes (MBR system), with simultaneous removal of nitrogen, phosphorus, and stabilization of sludge. In addition, WWTP will have a chlorine disinfection system and final disposal of the clean water in the Erkyna stream that leads to the Kifissos river, which are identified as final recipients.

The object of the project includes:

  • the elaboration of the Final Study, the Implementation study and any kind of additional study and research,
  • the construction of Civil Engineering projects,
  • the supply and installation of all electrical and mechanical equipment,
  • commissioning and completion tests
  • the pilot operation of the project for a period of six (6) months and additional normal-efficient operation of 18 months.
