The project includes:
· Construction of two sewage pumping stations and a collection pipeline which will lead all the sewage of the settlement of Agios Petros to the WWTP
· Construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) using the method of artificial wetland
WWTP's construction projects include:
•Input projects – Preprocessing Unit
•Vertical-reverse flow type primary biological treatment
•Secondary biological treatment of two levels B1 and B2
•Disinfection – Maturation Lake
•Auxiliary and infrastructure projects
The design population for the WWTP is planned is 2720 inhabitants for the year 2038, while the population of 2058 is calculated at 3522 inhabitants.
The sewage of the settlement of Agios Petros is led through the two central sewers with a diameter of Φ450mm to the adjacent ditch of the village. Near the outlet of each of the two pipelines, 2 pumping stations (A1 and A2) will be built which will supply the WWTP. The sewage is depressed from the first (A1) to the second pumping station (A2), where all the sewage of the settlement of Agios Petros is finally collected. From pumping station A2 they are depressed to WWTP.
